Fingerstyle Arranging and Improvisation (11:00 AM – 1:00 PM)
Mark has been asked for years to teach his entire recorded arrangement of "You Don't Know Me". Mark will use his newly updated arrangement from his "Author's Notes" CD to provide step-by-step insight in how to add improvisational verses to your fingerpicking tunes. The lessons taught here – how to build a fingerstyle arrangement, and how to improvise on it - are applicable to all fingerpicking styles, whether it be blues, folk, pop, or jazz.

Lullabies for Strummers & Fingerpickers (2:00 - 4:00 PM)
Mark teaches eight lovely lullabies that you can play for your babies of any age! Included are his arrangements of the Beatles "Good Night". Brahms' "Lullaby", J.T.'s "Sweet Baby James", "Irish Lullaby", "All the Pretty Little Horses", "Tell Me Why", "Wynken Blynken & Nod", and "Now the Day Is Over". Included are chord sheets, suggested strumming patterns, and complete fingerstyle solo arrangements. Combine this with Mark's first workshop of the day and you will be improvising your babies right out of their cribs!
